What a ride! Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is an adventure puzzle dragging you as a player through a unique landscape full of mystery and wonder! This game is all about story and environment. Not to forget the music. Oooh! The music is chillingly good.
The brothers’ father have gotten ill and the two brothers decides to venture into the world to find a cure. In their travels they encounter various problems. In order to pass these obstacles, they have to use each other’s strengths. One brother being strong and large, while the smaller brother is slim and light weight.
An interesting aspect of the game is the controls. As you play, you control both brothers simultaneously. Be advised, I played this game using my Xbox controller, and I believe this game is best played with a controller of some sort, and not keyboard and mouse. The brothers are a bit difficult to maneuver, but after some time you get used to it.
But back to what makes this game so great! The game is really good at preparing the player for what is about to come. You get a glimpse of what the next big thing is, and you continue to play, just to see what lies on the other side of this mountain. As you play, the game is also great at diverting into small mini-games designed to challenge the player in controlling two characters simultaneously.
If you like to escape from your daily life for a 4 hours period and are interested in something comfortable but yet interesting and fresh, take a look at brothers. You won’t get disappointed.
